WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - The Victims Assistance Center of Jefferson County is raising money to buy a van.
Executive director Jill Parker says the van is needed to help the agency transport the large families they help.
The goal is to raise $20,000.

Right now, she says, they need to use several vehicles for one family. Five hundred families have been transported since October.
People can donate on the VAC’s Facebook page or they can mail a check to 418 Washington Street in Watertown.
