Cyclones optimistic for a good season on the hardwood
WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - The Watertown boys' basketball team is hoping a large group of veteran players will spell success this season.
The Cyclones were off to a 3-1 start on the young season, with their latest win coming Monday night over Indian River, 62-51.
The Cyclones are coming off a 9-11 overall record last season.
Coach Jeff Britton is optimistic about the season ahead.
"I think every coach is always optimistic when the season starts. You always have plans that you want to make sure you accomplish during the season, but I think everybody's also realistic that it's going to take time and that's pretty much where we are, also.
There’s more from the coach in the video. Players Ryan Peters and Marlon Hinds-Ventour also share their thoughts on the coming season.
