FORT DRUM, N.Y. (WWNY) - It’s a Christmas surprise - 120 soldiers are home for the holidays.
They're all from the 10th Mountain Division Combat Aviation Brigade and most of them came home from Afghanistan.
They weren't expected to be home until July.
"Christmas has always been pretty big for our family, so I think we're gonna spend Christmas just the four of us, then go home and surprise his family," said Lorna Martin, soldier's wife.
"We're all we have up here besides the friends that we've made so we'll probably just put up a Christmas tree and do our thing," said Sidney Snyder, soldier's wife.
The soldiers say there’s no better Christmas present than being with loved ones.
