WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - A Jefferson County grand jury indicted a 43 year old Watertown man on drug and weapon charges.
Sheldon Dukes was arrested on September 12, 2018 following a traffic stop on Huntington Street.
According to city police, Dukes ran a stop sign and was found in possession of 9 high capacity ammunition feeding devices in the trunk of his car.
Police said he also had marijuana.
The grand jury indicted him Thursday on 9 counts of criminal possession of a weapon, one count of unlawful possession of marijuana and failure to stop at a stop sign.
According to the indictment, he possessed a magazine that holds up to 30 rounds of ammunition.
