WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - We will start the day tomorrow quite, but things will change after 3pm.
We will see rain, freezing rain, sleet, and snow move into the north country. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for St. Lawrence County from 7pm Sunday until 7am Tuesday. Freezing rain accumulation of 0.25″ to 0.50″ can be expected for the Tug Hill and in St. Lawrence County. On top of the ice parts of St. Lawrence County will see 1-3″ of snow and sleet. There are currently no winter weather watches, warnings, or advisory for Jefferson and Lewis Counties. That should change going into tomorrow.
Going into the New Years we will continue to see see above average temperatures with rain and snow chances.
