Skiers enjoy fresh snow

TOWN OF WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Dry Hill Ski Area in the town of Watertown is abuzz with skiers and snowboarders enjoying the fresh snow.

The hill got 2 to 3 inches of fresh snow from Mother Nature Tuesday. That's on top of artificial snow workers have been making and maintaining for weeks.

Workers say the fresh dusting has put people in the skiing mood.

Local students on winter break are enjoying it while they can.

"Today we're just out here skiing, we got a little bit of fresh snow. All three of us are instructors out here so we're teaching a few lessons, just enjoying the weather," said Andrew Bath.

"I think it's really convenient that when we get snow, we've got time to do what we love," said Justin Bath.

Dry Hill owner Tim McAtee says he’s glad to see the snow being put to good use.
