SPCA: Moonra, the curious cat

SPCA: a curious cat

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Beth Hall had to come to the rescue to corral Moonra.

She's the cat Katelynn Drohan from the Jefferson County SPCA brought to the 7 News studio.

Moonra caused some excitement when she grew restless and leaped from Makenzie Piatt's lap to explore the studio. You can see the action in the video.

Moonra and a bunny were rescued from a bad home situation and she's been at the shelter for awhile.

Drohan also talked about a fundraiser later this month.

A Native American seer will give readings from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 25 and Sunday, January 26 at the Paddock Club in downtown Watertown.

Each reading is 20 minutes and you have to reserve a spot ahead of time. It costs $60 and you can prepay by calling the SPCA’s Petco location at 315-405-4397.

For more information on adopting an animal, volunteering, becoming a member, or donating, call the shelter at 315-782-3260.
