LISBON, N.Y. (WWNY) - A man who served prison time for raping three young children is accused of failing to register his change of address.

St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies say 38 year old Travis Bishop hadn’t lived at his registered Lisbon address for seven months. Deputies list his current address as Ogdensburg.

State records show Bishop is a level-three sex offender, the level that indicates he is at high risk for re-offending.

He was convicted of first-degree rape in 2003 in a case records show involved children ages 12, 9, and 3.

The records do not show where the incidents happened. He was sentenced to 42 months in prison.

Deputies say Bishop was charged Tuesday with failing to register a change of address. He was issued a ticket to appear in Lisbon town court at a later date.
