TOWN OF WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - A town of Watertown apartment building was evacuated for a time Thursday after parts of it filled up with smoke.
Firefighters were called early Thursday afternoon to the area behind Target in the Towne Center off Arsenal Street.
The town of Watertown fire chief said the smoke was caused when a maintenance crew sprayed foam insulation onto a heater.
Firefighters helped to ventilate the apartment building.
