Emerald Ash Borer is Here - Now What?

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County is offering a program, “Emerald Ash Borer is Here- Now What?” on Saturday, January 18 from 10 am to 12 pm at the extension offices, 203 North Hamilton St. in Watertown.

Sue Gwise, horticulture educator, appeared on 7 News at Noon on Friday to talk about the insect and the program.

If you have ash trees, the program will offer guidance on how to deal with this invasive pest that was recently discovered in Jefferson County.

Presenters will include certified arborists and pesticide applicators.

The program is free, but registration is required.
