Lowville man sentenced for selling heroin and fentanyl

LOWVILLE, N.Y. (WWNY) - A 29 year old Lowville man, who admitted to selling heroin and fentanyl, is going to prison.

Jacob Farney of 6755 Number Four Road was sentenced Friday in Lewis County Court to 8 years in prison with a Willard mandate, meaning he will receive drug rehabilitation treatment.

He pleaded guilty in December to third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.

On January 18, 2019, he sold heroin and fentanyl in the town of Watson.

Farney was also sentenced to 3 years post-release probation.
