CLAYTON, N.Y. (WWNY) - The big Clayton reconstruction project has the week off.

The contractor on the job, Luck Brothers, is dealing with “equipment repairs, material deliveries and subcointractor scheduling.”

That’s a quote from the “Savvy Citizen” app, which Clayton is using to keep people informed about the project’s progress.

Work will resume next Monday, January 20, according to the note posted to the app.

The two year, $9.3 million project involves work on three streets - Riverside Drive, James Street and Webb Street - and burying downtown cable and electric lines.
