WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - EZ STAK, a Watertown manufacturer, needs workers as it expands.

At a job fair Wednesday, more than 50 people showed up at the The WorkPlace on Coffeen Street in Watertown.

EZ STAK is in the process of moving out its building in the town of Watertown into a bigger facility in the town of Hounsfield.

Some of those waiting to be interviewed told 7 News they were part of the recent layoffs at Timeless Decor, where 40 people lost their jobs. The turnout Wednesday was described as tremendous.

"You know our whole idea of doing this recruiting week is to help those who have been laid off. We want to be able to present these opportunities to people and they seem to be coming out so we are pretty pleased," said Cheryl Mayforth, director, The WorkPlace.

The WorkPlace will also be having open interviews for Renzi Foodservice Thursday at 11:30 a.m.
