CANTON, N.Y. (WWNY) - It’s clear in Canton where the Dairy Queen once stood.

The owners do have plans to rebuild. The Dairy Queen's ruins have been demolished and taken away.

It has been two-and-a-half years since it was set on fire by an arsonist.

Owners Gail Crabtree and John Putman will get help as they put a Dairy Queen back there on the land in the form of a $195,000 federal grant obtained through the village of Canton.
