Update: Route 3 near West Carthage now open

WEST CARTHAGE, N.Y. (WWNY) - A traffic accident closed part of State Route 3 in the town of Wilna for much of Thursday morning.
The highway closed around 8:30 a.m. between County Route 3 and the Carthage village line. It was reopened around 12:45 p.m.
Officials say a vehicle knocked down a utility pole and power lines.
