Watertown building now a pile of rubble
WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - What a difference a few days can make.
The building at 409 West Main Street in Watertown is now nothing but a pile of rubble.
City hall ordered the property, built in the late 1800s, torn down after deeming it unsafe.
Officials said property owner Jake Johnson is being billed about $55,000 in demolition costs, plus another $45,000 for the building next door, which was also recently razed.
