Coronavirus: Increased prison screenings to take effect at north country prisons

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - It was announced Friday the State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision will increase screening protocols for COVID-19 for visitors at facilities statewide.
This takes effect Monday.
Visitors should be prepared to answer questions regarding recent travel and contact with people showing symptoms of the virus.
This affects the prisons located in Watertown, Cape Vincent, Gouverneur and Ogdensburg.
