Lewis, Jefferson counties confirm new COVID-19 cases Sunday

LOWVILLE, N.Y. (WWNY) - Lewis County reports two new COVID-19 cases Sunday, the county’s total rises to 37.

Out of those 37 confirmed cases, 29 have recovered.

Eight are in mandatory isolation and 36 are under precautionary quarantine.

Lewis County has tested 3,885 people so far, 3,847 came back negative.

The county is still awaiting the results of one test.

In Jefferson County, 3 new cases have been reported this weekend, two of those on Sunday. The county’s total has jumped to 90.

Seven are in mandatory isolation. And a total of 164 are in either precautionary or mandatory quarantine.

A total of 7,623 tests have been administered. 7,533 have come back negative.

No new cases were reported in St. Lawrence County Sunday.
