WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Jefferson and St. Lawrence counties reported new COVID-19 cases Friday.
St. Lawrence County added one case, bringing its total since the pandemic began to 226 with nine active cases.
214 people have recovered, three people have died. One person is hospitalized.
In all, 20,034 people have been tested, a little less than 20 percent of the county’s population.
Jefferson County reported two new cases, bringing its total to 111.
There are 18 active cases, with 93 people recovered.
Another 126 people are in “precautionary quarantine,” and 16 people are in “mandatory quarantine.”
8,851 people have been tested, about eight percent of the county’s population.
Lewis County reported no new cases of the coronavirus Friday.
The number of cases since the pandemic began remained at 40, with three active cases and 37 people recovered from the virus.
There are 48 people under quarantine and one person in isolation.
In all, 4,823 people have been tested, a little less than 20 percent of the county’s population.
