WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Six new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Jefferson County on Tuesday.
Since the pandemic began, the county has seen 205 cases of coronavirus and performed 13,161 tests.
Three people are currently hospitalized, 26 are in mandatory isolation, 78 are in mandatory quarantine and another 671 are in precautionary quarantine.
Lewis County announced its 47th confirmed case of the coronavirus Tuesday.
The latest person to contract the virus is in isolation at home. That makes 3 people in isolation.
The other 44 cases have recovered.
There are now 65 people under quarantine.
Since the pandemic began, the county has administered 6,221 tests to 3,589 people. Of them, 6,160 tests were negative.
Results are pending for 14 tests.
Meanwhile, St. Lawrence County reported no new cases Tuesday, meaning the total remains at 258 since the pandemic began.
Six cases are described as active.
Officials said 4 people are hospitalized and 248 cases have been released from isolation.
To date, 28,895 people have been tested for the coronavirus in the county.
