Gouverneur woman accused of embezzling from employer

GOUVERNEUR, N.Y. (WWNY) - A 42 year old Gouverneur woman is accused of embezzling money from her employer.

Jacquelyn Todd allegedly stole more than $1,800 and falsified records while she was employed as a bookkeeper at Blevins Ford in Gouverneur.

State police arrested her Saturday and charged her with fourth-degree grand larceny and first-degree falsifying business records.

Todd was arraigned in Canton Town Court and released on her own recognizance.
