WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Cuomo had big news for movie theaters Saturday.
Starting October 23rd, theaters outside of New York City can reopen at 25% capacity with a maximum of 50 people per screen.
Theaters can only open in counties that maintain an infection rate below 2% for a two week average.
Masks are to be worn when not seated and assigned seating will be required.
Theaters will also need to meet enhanced air filtration standards.
