LOWVILLE, N.Y. (WWNY) - The tri-county region reported 11 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday.
Lewis County announced 10 new cases.
The county has had a total of 136 cases since the pandemic began.
Officials said 52 of the recent cases are connected to an October 11 religious gathering at the Apostolic Christian Church in the town of New Bremen.
The county Public Health Agency said Tuesday that 4 people are now hospitalized and 63 are in isolation.
Another 794 people are under quarantine.
Since the pandemic began, 73 people have recovered from the coronavirus.
St. Lawrence County reported no new cases, keeping the county’s total number of cases since the pandemic began at 389.
Officials said 33 cases are active and 4 people are hospitalized.
According to the county, 352 cases have been released from isolation.
To date, 82,819 people have been tested for the coronavirus in the county.
There was 1 new case to report in Jefferson County Tuesday.
No one is hospitalized; 21 people are in mandatory isolation and 260 are in mandatory quarantine.
Since the pandemic began, the county has seen 316 positive cases and performed 26,468 tests.
The county says 294 cases have recovered from the coronavirus.
