Highlights & scores: boys' soccer from the NAC

MADRID, N.Y. (WWNY) - It was a battle of East Division unbeatens in Northern Athletic Conference soccer Tuesday.

Madrid-Waddington boys entertained Parishville-Hopkinton on the pitch.

The Yellow Jackets took control early. Silas Kent’s shot was blocked by Panther keeper Caleb Knowles.

Matt Robinson also unleashed a shot that Knowles scrambled to save.

Panthers got their first break on a penalty kick. Peyton Snell ripped yarn just past goalie Jacob Morgan. That put the score at 1-0.

Snell, again with fancy footwork, just off Morgan and wide.

Under 4:00 left, the Jackets' Drew Harmer lofted a 25-yard shot over Knowles, tying the game at 1-1.

Snell, with one last chance for the Panthers, slid the ball past Morgan with 55.3 seconds left.

Parishville-Hopkinton defeated Madrid-Waddington 2-1.
