Sackets Harbor school moves to virtual learning after student gets COVID

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - The Sackets Harbor Central School District is switching to virtual learning Friday after a student tested positive for COVID-19.

The district said it’s working with Jefferson County Public Health on contact tracing. In-person classes are expected to resume Monday.

Officials said extra cleaning has taken place in the areas where the infected student had been.
