MASSENA, N.Y. (WWNY) - If you visited Walmart or Spanky’s Diner in Massena last week, you may have been exposed to COVID-19.
St. Lawrence County Public Health Department recommends people be tested for the coronavirus if they visited Walmart between 4 a.m. and 1 p.m. last Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.
The potential exposure at Spanky’s Diner, 3 North Main Street, happened on Sunday, November 1 between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
Officials urge people who were at those businesses on those specified dates and times to be tested and monitor their temperature twice a day for 14 days.
They ask that you call your healthcare provider for further guidance if you develop the following symptoms: fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscles or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea.
Tell your provider that you may have been exposed to COVID-19.
