TURIN, N.Y. (WWNY) - The South Lewis school district is going fully remote for the next month.

Superintendent Doug Premo said in a letter it’s because of several new COVID-19 cases that were reported Thursday and because of a growing number of students and staff in quarantine.

Some students will attend school Friday based on the district’s learning model.

Starting Monday, all students will learn online until January 8.
