WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Assemblyman Mark Walczyk has been sworn in for a second term in Albany.
Jefferson County Judge Dave Renzi administered the oath of office for the Assemblyman Monday at the Dulles State Office Building.
Walczyk (R. - 116th District) doesn’t expect 2021 to be easy in Albany as he listed off challenges that lie ahead.
“The first is reasserting ourselves as a co-equal branch of government. We’ve got the budget coming up real soon and with a giant deficit and an economy that’s been shut down for a while, we have a lot to tackle,” he said.
The first session for the Assembly is Wednesday.
