WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - If you’re interested in filling the vacant Watertown City Council seat, you’re asked to submit a letter of interest and resume to the mayor’s office.
The vacancy was created when Council Member Jesse Roshia announced he would be stepping down from his position on January 31.
City lawmakers will now be tasked with appointing someone to fill Roshia’s vacancy through the rest of 2021.
Candidates for the position are asked to submit resumes and letters of interest no later than January 31.
They must be city residents, eligible to vote and of “good moral turpitude.”
