WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Three new COVID-19 deaths and another 239 positive cases were reported Wednesday in the tri-county region.
A 14th Jefferson County resident has died from COVID-19.
The county also reported 132 new cases Wednesday - a single-day high.
Twenty-six people are hospitalized; 552 people are in mandatory isolation and 1,059 are in mandatory quarantine.
Since the pandemic began, 14 people have died from COVID and the county has seen 2,646 positive cases.
The county says 2,044 cases have recovered from the coronavirus.
St. Lawrence County
St. Lawrence County Public Health said Wednesday that another person has died from COVID-19. To date, the coronavirus has claimed the lives of 48 people in the county.
Officials also said 74 more people have tested positive for COVID, bringing the total number of confirmed positive cases to date to 2,837.
Officials said 770 cases are active and 24 people are hospitalized.
According to the county, 2,019 cases have been released from isolation.
Lewis County announced another person has died from COVID-19. That means the coronavirus has claimed a total of 13 lives.
Officials reported 33 new cases Wednesday.
The county has had a total of 983 cases since the pandemic began.
The county Public Health Agency said Wednesday that 17 people are hospitalized and 215 are in isolation.
Another 460 people are under quarantine.
Since the pandemic began, 755 people have recovered from the coronavirus.
