WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - A new team of developers now has a plot of land in the Jefferson County Industrial Park - its first inside the park.
Jake Johnson and Robert Ferris have bought one of fellow developer Mike Lundy’s companies, Northern Developers.
Among the properties in the portfolio are the Penske building that’s in the park and the empty lot next to it.
The developers will put up an 8,000 square-foot building on that empty lot.
“I’m excited to bring another building into the park. I’m hoping to get some more buildings brought in here. I know Mike had talked to me about doing some development on lot 10. He owns another lot up here and he has the potential for something else out here,” said Ferris.
Ferris says nothing is final, but that 8,000 square-foot building might be leased back to Lundy. The building should be up within 6 months.
