WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Three new COVID-19 deaths and another 261 positive cases were reported Friday in the tri-county region.
Jefferson County reported Friday 2 more residents died from COVID-19.
The county also reported 137 new cases.
Twenty-six people are hospitalized; 710 people are in mandatory isolation and 1,102 are in mandatory quarantine.
Since the pandemic began, 17 people have died from COVID and the county has seen 2,860 positive cases.
The county says 2,099 cases have recovered from the coronavirus.
Lewis County reported Friday another resident died from the coronavirus. To date, COVID has claimed a total of 14 lives in the county.
There were 42 new cases of COVID-19 Friday.
The county has had a total of 1,050 cases since the pandemic began.
The county Public Health Agency said 18 people are hospitalized and 233 are in isolation.
Another 542 people are under quarantine.
Since the pandemic began, 803 people have recovered from the coronavirus.
St. Lawrence County
St. Lawrence County Public Health said Friday that 82 more people have tested positive for COVID, bringing the total number of confirmed positive cases to date to 3,067.
Officials said 886 cases are active and 24 people are hospitalized.
To date, the coronavirus has claimed the lives of 48 people in the county.
According to the county, 2,133 cases have been released from isolation.
