SACKETS HARBOR, N.Y. (WWNY) - The Sackets Harbor Central School District is transitioning to fully remote learning.

This is in response to a COVID-19 case among staff members that the district says compromised a critical department, resulting in all of the members in that department being quarantined.

They say the group of employees effected are vital to normal school operations and substitutes are not available, citing this as a reason for the transition.

The district will resume their hybrid model of teaching on Monday, January 25th.
