ALBANY, N.Y. (WWNY) - Tuesday was the second of four parts of Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s State of the State address.
On Monday, he gave a 45-minute overview. On Tuesday, he spent 30 minutes drilling down on reviving the state’s economy during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
The governor said rapid testing is key to reopening the economy.
Cuomo also addressed the importance of reviving the arts and announced the New York Arts Revival, a series of popup performances, and the return of the Tribecca Film Festival this summer.
He also said he plans to appoint a commission to help the state adapt to a changing economic climate.
