WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Lake effect snow is falling across parts of the north country, but it probably won’t amount to much.
Southern Lewis and Jefferson counties and northern Oswego County could see from 1 to 3 inches Tuesday with another 1 to 3 possible overnight.
There’s a 50 percent chance of snow in St. Lawrence County in the morning, otherwise it will be dry and mostly cloudy outside the lake effect band.
Highs will be in the mid-30s, although some places may stay below freezing.
It will be in the upper 20s overnight.
There’s a 50 percent chance of snow Wednesday. Highs will be in the upper 30s.
There’s a very small chance of snow Thursday. Highs will be in the upper 30s.
It will be mostly cloudy and in the upper 30s on Friday.
Snow is likely on Saturday and there’s a possibility of lake effect snow Saturday night into Sunday. Saturday’s highs will be in the mid-30s.
There’s a chance of snow Sunday and Monday. Highs will be in the low 30s both days.
