WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Four new COVID-19 deaths and another 201 positive cases were reported Wednesday in the tri-county region.
Three more people in Jefferson County have died from COVID-19. The death toll since the pandemic began now stands at 22.
There were 97 new cases to report in the county Wednesday.
Twenty-seven people are hospitalized; 669 people are in mandatory isolation and 1,255 are in mandatory quarantine.
Since the pandemic began, the county has seen 3,254 positive cases.
The county says 2,530 cases have recovered from the coronavirus.
St. Lawrence County
St. Lawrence County Public Health reported Wednesday that another person has died from the coronavirus. Since the pandemic began, 52 people in the county have died from COVID-19.
Officials also said 70 more people have tested positive for the coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed positive cases to date to 3,428.
Officials said 973 cases are active and 24 people are hospitalized.
According to the county, 2,403 cases have been released from isolation.
Lewis County reported 34 new cases Wednesday.
The county has had a total of 1,172 cases since the pandemic began.
The county Public Health Agency said Wednesday that 19 people are hospitalized and 267 are in isolation.
Another 675 people are under quarantine.
Since the pandemic began, 15 people have died from COVID, while 890 people have recovered from the coronavirus.
