PHILADELPHIA, N.Y. (WWNY) - The Indian River school board has selected the district’s next superintendent.

The board named Troy Decker, who’s now assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction, to replace retiring superintendent Mary Anne Dobmeier.

Decker starts his new job on July 1.

He has also served the district as principal at the high school and Theresa Primary School, and as assistant principal at the high school and middle school.
