OGDENSBURG, N.Y. (WWNY) - Two people have been arrested in connection with what Ogdensburg police are calling a “gun shot investigation.”

Police responded to a fight on the 800 block of New York Avenue Sunday night.

While police were there, the department received several complaints of gun shots in the 300 or 400 blocks of Mansion Avenue.

Police investigated and said those complaints stemmed from the New York Avenue altercation.

That prompted a search at 325 Mansion Avenue and ended with the arrests of 2 people who live there, 28 year old Christian Gonzales and 29 year old Deserrea Deloney.

Gonzales was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was being held late Monday afternoon pending an arraignment.

Deloney was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and released on an appearance ticket.

Police said the incident remains under investigation and further arrests are expected.
