WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Three years ago, a Fort Drum soldier went missing. The U.S. Army closed the case, saying Trevor Nichols is a deserter. No police agency is investigating. His family wants answers:

It seems insane that nobody will even open an investigation. How awful for this soldier’s family!

Brittany Phillips

As a parent I would never give up looking...make them reopen his case or hire a private investigator.

Lisa Swiernik

A registered nurse told us what it’s like to care for COVID patients as the virus has spread and more people have gotten sick and died:

We’ve all endured a lot in the past 11 months but the past 2 months at the hospitals have been awful.

Samantha Dugan

A big shout out to all our nurses and those working in the medical field. Prayers for all of you.

Betty Reff

The toilet gardens in Potsdam can stay. That’s because the village has backed down in its fight against Hank Robar and the display on his property:

He sure proved his point and WON. Good going.

Joyce Gagnon

It’s just sad...People thinking this is a win at any level is sadder still.

Deborah Moore

He is affecting the resale value of the homes near him.

Sharon Hartman Bailey

This is awesome! I love showing my son this little piece of Potsdam when we travel to NY from Maine!
