WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - There were no new COVID-19 deaths to report Monday in Jefferson and Lewis counties. However, another 27 people tested positive for the coronavirus
There were 23 new cases to report in Jefferson County Monday. Since the pandemic began, the county has seen 5,089 positive cases.
Sixteen people are hospitalized; 257 people are in mandatory isolation and 572 are in mandatory quarantine.
The county says 4,741 cases have recovered from the coronavirus.
To date, 75 people in the county have died from COVID since the pandemic began.
Lewis County reported 4 new cases Monday.
The county has had a total of 1,672 cases since the pandemic began.
The county Public Health Agency said Monday that 10 people are hospitalized and 94 are in isolation.
Another 301 people are under quarantine.
Since the pandemic began, 26 people have died from COVID, while 1,552 people have recovered from the coronavirus.
