WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - There’s a snowstorm on the way and it could dump about a foot of snow on parts of the north country.
A winter storm warning for Jefferson, Lewis, and Oswego counties will be in effect from 7 p.m. Monday to 1 p.m. Tuesday.
A warning for St. Lawrence County also starts at 7 p.m. Monday. It goes longer and ends at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Snow starts Monday morning and could be heavy at times. That burst of snow winds down by early afternoon. We could see about an inch during the day
It starts up again Monday night and will be heavy at times. From 3 to 5 inches could fall by the time people go to work in the morning.
Travel will be difficult. Overall, we could see from 7 to 14 inches.
Highs will be in the mid-20s on Monday and the low 20s on Tuesday.
It will be sunny and in the upper teens on Wednesday.
There’s a 50 percent chance of snow on Thursday. Highs will be in the upper 20s.
Snow showers are likely on Friday. Highs will be in the low 30s.
It will be partly sunny and in the 20s on Saturday and Sunday.
