BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WWNY) - All state-run COVID vaccination sites will be open to walk-ins beginning Thursday.

Governor Andrew Cuomo made the announcement Tuesday during a visit to Binghamton.

Walk-in vaccinations will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis for first doses only.

Second doses will be scheduled automatically after the initial shot.

In addition, Cuomo encouraged all vaccine providers to allow walk-in appointments for eligible New Yorkers.
