Castorland home damaged by fire

CASTORLAND, N.Y. (WWNY) - The first floor of a two-story Castorland home was damaged by fire Tuesday afternoon.

Crews responded to a kitchen fire call at 5475 Naumburg Lane just before 2:30 p.m.

When they got there, firefighters found heavy flames on the ground floor and at the back of the house.

They were able to contain the fire to that area.

No injuries were reported. The home – owned by Jennifer Tabolt – and its contents have fire, smoke, and water damage.

The cause is under investigation.
