Watertown lawmakers to vote Monday on new contract with police
WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Watertown is set to approve a new 3-year contract with its police department.
The existing contract ends at the end of June.
The new pact takes the city and the Police Benevolent Association out to June 2024.
Each year it provides a 2.75 percent pay raise. It also allows members of the PBA to accumulate up to 240 sick days versus the current 180 allowance.
City council will vote on the contract during its meeting Monday night.
