Ogdensburg home damaged by fire

OGDENSBURG, N.Y. (WWNY) - Fire damaged an Ogdensburg home Sunday afternoon.
Acting Fire Chief Stephen Jellie said the fire at 718 Lafayette Street began on a first-floor porch and spread to the kitchen.
The fire was quickly extinguished by Ogdensburg firefighters.
Heuvelton firefighters were also at the scene with Morristown providing backup at the station.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
