About the Position:

This position will serve as the Taste NY Market Store Clerk and will work under the direction and supervision of the Taste NY Market Manager and Taste NY Assistant Market Manager. Primary responsibilities include assisting with management of inventory, operation of cash register, cash controls, transportation of inventory to the store, customer service, food service and record keeping. On a daily basis the store clerk will inspect the store for cleanliness, organization and refill supplies as needed. This position will also open and close the store, and act in the capacity of cashier, store clerk and utility clerk as necessary. The clerk is expected to discuss Jefferson County agriculture and local foods with customers to engage them in these areas and to provide information upon request about the food and farm products sold in the store.

Master Teacher II PROGRAM: Universal Pre-K Program CLASSIFICATION: Academic/Full-Time/Non-Exempt GRADE: 6 HOURLY RATE: $16.15 Bachelors $20.00 NYS Certified WORK HOURS: 37.5 hours per week. JOB LOCATION: CAPC Universal Pre-K Classroom @ Sherman Elementary School JOB SUMMARY: The Master Teacher II works with the Teacher Assistant and Teacher Aide to provide a healthy, safe, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for up to (17) - 3-year-old preschool children– 5 days per week. Rooted in every county of the state, CCE Associations bring local experience and research-based solutions together, helping New York state families and communities thrive in our rapidly changing world.

CCE of Jefferson County is a NYS subordinate governmental agency, under the oversight of Cornell University, with an annual operation budget of 8.4 million dollars, with approximately 114 staff and 148 volunteers.

The Executive Director provides overall leadership for the Association -- setting local program priorities in collaboration with the Board of Directors. This position also ensures equitable, diverse, and inclusive programs and practices, operational compliance and risk management, fiscal oversight, and effective people management. The Executive Director successfully navigates competing priorities while also building and maintaining tactful, collaborative relationships with multiple audiences. This position can sometimes be “hands-on” with no task too big or too small to tackle, helping to ensure constituents value the expertise and vital work of CCE of Jefferson County.

This position also supports the Shared Business Network (SBN) by engaging decision makers locally, regionally within the SBN and at Cornell in order to be effective in providing leadership for staff that work to back office functions in the areas of Finance, HR and IT. Jefferson Community College, Watertown, New York, a member of the State University of New York (SUNY) system, is conducting a search for a full-time Athletic Trainer. Reporting to the Athletic Director, this position is responsible for all aspects of preventing, evaluating, treating, and rehabilitating injuries sustained by students participating on one of Jefferson’s intercollegiate athletic teams. The Athletic Trainer will oversee the fitness center including scheduling employees, budget preparation and developing a five-year equipment replacement plan.
