Firefighters battle blaze in Watertown

WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Firefighters from Watertown and Fort Drum were called to battle a blaze at a home on the city’s north side early Monday afternoon.
They responded to 216 Farwell Street.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the attic, although officials say the damage is extensive.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Watertown firefighters were assisted by the Fort Drum Fire Department, Watertown Police, Guilfoyle Ambulance, city codes, and National Grid..
