Send It To 7 Pics of the Week: Holiday fun & enjoying the snow
(WWNY) - We had a great turnout of pics this week ‘between snow shots and holiday fun.
Let’s start with this Sun Dog that was seen in St. Lawrence County. We have shots of it from Ogdensburg, Depeyster, and Lisbon — and in Plessis in Jefferson County.
In Dexter before that big snowfall, Amy captured the village looking like it’s on fire during sunrise. As the old saying goes, red sky at morning, sailors take warning. It usually means a storm is coming, and it was right.
People were enjoying the snow, though, like some kiddos in Cranberry Lake.
Riley Cogdill, age 3, and Maverick were catching snowflakes.
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a two-horse open sleigh with Mickey Dietrich and his Clydesdales.
Simpson the pup was having oh, such fun making snow angels on Fort Drum.
Buddy and Griffin were posing — Griffin with his new hat.
Theodore is getting ready to destroy ornaments.
Oliver seems to know there’s a gift for him under the tree.
Sandra Leuze shared the laying of the wreaths ceremony at the Sackets Harbor military cemetery.
Penny Slate shared Hammond Central School principal Lauren Morley playing elf on the shelf, or rather, on the sign
Finally, Betty Jenkins wants us to say “thank you” to those who decorated a mixer truck, as it has brought her much joy to look at.
Thanks to everyone who shared their pics. Keep them coming at Send It To 7 on our website. There’s also a link on our mobile app.
