MASSENA, New York (WWNY) - Tammy Anne Bush, 59, of Ridgewood Ave, unexpectedly passed away Wednesday morning, March 22, 2023 at her home after a long illness.

Tammy was born in Massena on June 13, 1963.  She attended several local schools before graduating from Hermon-Dekalb Central School.  She continued her education at SUNY Canton with a degree in Accounting.  She later attended Mater Dei College, graduating with a degree in Court Stenography.   On June 28, 2003, she married Randy J. Bush at the Emmanuel Congregational United Church of Christ.

She was court stenographer for many courts until she became disabled due to many health problems.  She formerly active member of the Massena Old Car Club and cherished the time she was able to spend with her grandchildren.

Tammy is survived by her loving husband, Randy; her sons, Robert (Bambi) Gilmore of Brushton and Joshua (Mildred) Brown of Mississippi; her grandchildren, Cassandra and Makaylie Gilmore; her great grandchildren, Mason and Bryson; her sister, Brenda Stone of Massena; her brother, Richard Gilmore, Jr.; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her brother, Timothy Gilmore.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, where friends may call on Monday 4-7:00 PM.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home.   Burial will be held later in the spring in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Louisville.
