Les Shockley was born and raised in northern New York and graduated from Sackets Harbor Central School and Jefferson Community College.
He is a substitute anchor, weathercaster, reporter, editor and producer for 7 News.
After studying music at SUNY Oswego, he worked in radio for 15 years as a night jock, morning DJ and Program Director/Music Director.
Les worked locally on WBDR (The Border), WOTT (Real Rock), WCIZ (Z93), WBLH (Tunes 92.5) & WWHT (Hot 107.9) out of Syracuse.
In his spare time, Les is a musician and plays in a few local bands.
